Mobile company Venuetize developed the new app, which is expected to enhance Las Vegas Ballpark guests’ mobile experience.
The Howard Hughes Corporation recently announced it launched the Summerlin app in partnership with Venuetize, a mobile technology company whose mobile platform integrates with existing venue infrastructure to bring contextual advertising, information and more to improve the guest experience.
The Howard Hughes Corporation, which owns, manages and develops commercial, residential and mixed-use real estate throughout the United States, developed the Summerlin master planned community and the Las Vegas Ballpark, home of the Oakland A’s Triple A minor league baseball affiliate, the Las Vegas Aviators. The mobile app’s Phase I release is designed to provide guests with a customizable, state-of-the-art experience within both the Las Vegas Ballpark and the Summerlin community for years to come.
The Summerlin app will also continue to establish the community’s urban core as a lively sports and entertainment hub that’s driven by innovation. Las Vegas Ballpark guests will be able to enjoy a mobile experience that makes planning and enhancing their day at the ballpark, and within the Summerlin community, easy and convenient.
“With Las Vegas Ballpark, we have built a best-in-class venue consistent with the high standards of quality for which both the Summerlin community and The Howard Hughes Corporation are known,” said Danielle Bisterfeldt, Summerlin Vice President of Marketing. “By partnering with Venuetize, we are able to incorporate new technology to not only engage with our fans at the ballpark, but to offer a dynamic mobile experience that will guide their journey within the Summerlin community.”
Some of the mobile features Summerlin app users can enjoy include purchasing and managing digital tickets to baseball games and other events at Las Vegas Ballpark, finding parking and connecting to ride share services, browsing food and drink offerings throughout the Ballpark, and planning pre- and post-event dining and shopping options by viewing local businesses, restaurants and more.
Additionally, future versions of the Summerlin app will have features that allow residents and guests to explore the Summerlin community and downtown area in depth.
“Venuetize continues to incorporate new technology to help communities engage with guests and allow them to personalize their mobile experience,” Venuetize Founder and COO Karri Zaremba said in a statement. “We are proud to partner with The Howard Hughes Corporation as they continue to develop this dynamic urban center that serves as a premier lifestyle destination in the Las Vegas Valley.”
The Summerlin app is available for download on iPhone and Android devices.
