TELECO Brings Haberer On Board as Director of Wireless Engineering

Earlier this month, cellular and public safety distributed antenna systems (DAS) provider TELECO announced Ken Haberer joined the company as its new Director of Wireless Engineering. Haberer will oversee the company’s engineering team that works on public safety DAS, commercial wireless, and Wi-Fi DAS. Haberer will bring 20 years of experience developing public safety products for the U.S. market to TELECO, which he’ll use to support national sales, dealer development, and DAS training.
Haberer has an electrical engineering background and started his career with the U.S. Air Force, where he served as Communications Specialist at the EC-135 Airborne Command Post aircraft. Haberer also worked as a product manager with public safety and cellular product manufacturer SOLiD. Most recently, he worked with Comba, which supplies BDA and fiber-based in-building coverage enhancement products, as the company’s Director of Sales Engineering.
“Ken’s 20 years of knowledge of in-building wireless and work as the public safety and cellular product manager make him a perfect fit for TELECO,” the company said in a release. “Ken’s hands-on experience has enabled him to quickly recognize and design even the most complex solutions for both cellular and public safety opportunities. TELECO is looking forward to leveraging Ken’s experience, skills, and technical knowledge to further TELECO’s wireless solutions offering.”
