Belden, Inc. and JMA Wireless recently announced the companies formed a strategic alliance to deliver complete smart building solutions from the most power technologies available, according to a joint release.

JMA Wireless is a global leader in wireless communication solutions and Belden is a global leader in signal transmission solutions for mission-critical applications. By teaming up, the companies bring together all of the necessary elements that will provide venues with the best mobile technology, enable ultra high speeds and greater capacity than has been ever seen before. The alliance also ensures buildings can leverage 5G capabilities in the future.

Jointly, each company’s solutions will meet the increasing demand for integrated, intelligent systems that will greatly improve building efficiency, reduce operating costs and decrease how many man hours will be need to keep a building functioning at peak capacity. The alliance also increases the possibility of reliable and “future proof” buildings by deploying flexible, integrated wireless infrastructure solutions.

The alliance will combine Belden’s fiber solutions, power cabling, patching solutions and custom cabinet with JMA Wireless’ distributed antenna systems (DAS), digital electricity and mounting systems, antennas and RF conditioning, along with the newly announced XRAN™ adaptive baseband.

“By partnering with JMA Wireless, we have created the most powerful solution set in the industry for buildings that want to deploy fully converged wireless technology infrastructure,” David Geon, Biden vice president of sales, enterprise solutions said in a statement.

The companies will work with large facilities across numerous industries to support customers as they plan their converged infrastructure and get ready for 5G performance, which will transform wireless networking.

“The JMA Wireless and Belden alliance brings customers everything they seek in converged wireless infrastructure solutions,” Dan Cassinelli, president of sales at JMA Wireless said in a statement.

JMA Wireless joins Belden’s Convergence in the Digital Building Roadshow in 2018, which provides a unique opportunity to learn and interact with technology experts from a variety of organizations to discuss what it really takes to deploy a smart building. Learn more about the roadshow here.
