Apex Announces New Public Safety Division, Pulse, At Annual Event

Apex Site Solutions’ employees had a little more to celebrate during the company’s recent Brewfest event this year.
Typically, Apex, which specializes in wireless infrastructure installations, uses the Brewfest event to celebrate and thank its team members, partners, and clients. This year, however, the event doubled as an unveiling ceremony of sorts for Apex Site Solutions’ new division, Pulse Signal Solutions.
Pulse’s focus will be on public safety. The new division will work to help commercial real estate owners have the right amount of wireless coverage so first responders can communicate in the event of an emergency. Pulse will design, install, and maintain proper systems so CRE owners will be prepared for any unexpected emergency as well as any future technologies. Additionally, the Pulse Signal Solutions team will work with wireless carriers to make sure CRE owners’ systems coordinate with the carriers, is tested properly and commissioned correctly. Pulse also brings experienced radio frequency (RF) engineers to every job along with specialized tools and testing equipment to ensure everything is done correctly the first time.
The event, called “The Pulse Brewfest Presented by Apex” this year, was well attended. Along with the usual attendees like Apex employees and clients, numerous CRE professionals were on hand, as well as the Safer Buildings Coalition leadership. The Brewfest also provided an opportunity to stress the importance of CRE owners having an effective in-building public safety system. The event allowed for the new Pulse division to demonstrate how it can help CRE owners address this pressing issue.
From a public safety standpoint, the event was a success for Apex and Pulse—it got the word out about its new division, shared its solutions, and continued an important conversation about buildings having an effective public safety system. However, there was an added bonus as a number of generous attendees donated raffle and auction items. By night’s end, close to $6,700 was raised, which will go to the California Fire Foundation.
