This August SOLiD announced that it opened up a new “state-of-the-art” headquarters in Plano, Texas, according to a news release. The leading provider of equipment solutions for wireless networks is focusing on growth in the Americas in a new and improved space.
As a leader in in-building cellular and in public safety infrastructure, SOLiD intents to continue its growth and keep up with demand in the American market through this new headquarters.
The new facility will come equipped with a product development R&D center, a new certification, education and training center, a SOLiD Experience Center and a large, efficiently assembly, configuration, and test (ACT) area. These features will allow SOLiD to create innovations, to help and education customers, to speed up delivery time, and to showcase its products.
“SOLiD has experienced unprecedented growth over the last year, particularly in the middleprise space providing mobile services and public safety solutions to building owners of
all sizes,” said SOLiD Americas’ President Ken Sandfield in the news release.
“This new headquarters in Plano, Texas enables SOLiD to develop innovative technology faster and provides a centralized location for faster delivery throughout the Americas.”
“We are delighted to be moving into a new Americas headquarters in Plano, Texas,” according to SOLiD’s CEO Dr. Seung Hee Lee, “…the ability to innovate and to deliver that innovation faster are the key reasons we relocated to Texas.”
An Open House day was held on August 3 to celebrate the South Korean company’s new American headquarters.
