CBRS, 5G and public safety are among magazine’s covered topics.

New Issue
Fifth Gen Media released the latest digital issue of its flagship publication, Connected Real Estate Magazine, this week. The print edition is scheduled to arrive in subscribers’ mailboxes soon.
The newest issue includes the latest updates to the public safety communication codes, how critical Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) is to CRE owners, what readers need to know about 5G wireless, and more. This issue of Connected will also provide insider knowledge to help the audience better understand current technological and connectivity advancements and their impact on the industry so commercial real estate owners may better prepare their properties for the future.
Magazine highlights include a “View from the Top” article about CBRS and how it could change in-building wireless coverage by Google Spectrum Engineer Lead Andrew Clegg. In the piece, Clegg explains what CBRS is, how it differs from traditional licensed wireless services and Wi-Fi, and why CBRS matters to CRE owners.
Additional highlighted articles include Altschul, LLC Principal Laura Altschul’s “Wi-Fi Won’t Cut It During the 5G Revolution” piece, which addresses why CRE owners need to consider including comprehensive cellular coverage in their buildings, and PCTEL Director of Business Development David Adams’ “In Case of Emergency: Verifying Your Building’s Network Coverage” story that covers public safety requirements and how CRE owners can remain compliant.
The issue features numerous other articles written by CRE industry experts and Connected Real Estate Magazine editors, including a feature on how Comba Telecom, Inc. is helping CRE owners and landlords leverage their building’s data, and a story on how ExteNet Systems helped Dallas-based high-rise building Ross Tower expand its connectivity capabilities. Every article in Connected Real Estate Magzine is designed to help CRE owners gain a better understanding of the constantly changing technology world and how they can harness and leverage this tech to improve their properties and tenants’ experience.
As Rich Berliner, CEO and Publisher of Connected Real Estate Magazine describes, “I continue to be more and more proud of each edition of Connected Real Estate Magazine. This issue contains material from the who’s who of the connectivity and technology industries, including Google, Corning, and a blue-chip assortment of companies with information that is sure to be of interest to commercial real estate leaders. We will continue to educate, entertain, and enlighten – and I look forward to bringing more insights to the CRE industry.
